Truck takes detour on new railroad tracks
According to Kalispell Police, someone ran their pickup truck over the new railroad tracks in the Glacier Rail Park in Kalispell and abandoned the vehicle on the tracks overnight sometime late Saturday night or early Sunday morning. The truck was removed and the incident remains under investigation, according to Kalispell Police officer Ron Clackler.
Someone reported a group of kids in a park for “messing around” and claiming a child had been electrocuted. When the reporting party got outside, the kids were laughing and said it was a joke.
A woman called to report someone for knocking on her door and then urinating on her property. She went on to say she did not catch anyone in the act, but thought she smelled urine on her front porch.
A woman with pink hair allegedly stole a pair of jeans from the mall.
A toddler locked himself in a running car, forcing a parent to call an officer to come unlock it. When the officer arrived on scene, however, the parent allegedly managed to get the car unlocked using a coat hanger without assistance.
A woman allegedly drove through a pharmacy drive-thru while intoxicated. The reporting party stated the woman had a passenger with her and reportedly was slurring her speech and acting confused before driving away.
A man reported a blackmail attempt from an unknown source who allegedly sent him an email claiming they “had his passwords.” The source reportedly threatened to release a video of the man if he did not pay them with bitcoin.
A group of kids were drag-racing and throwing pop and ping-pong balls at their vehicle at a gas station.
Someone reported their neighbor for racing his hot rod around the neighborhood late at night, spinning around the corners and creating a lot of noise. Officers contacted and counseled the driver.
A woman said someone shot out the bay windows on her house. The woman said she could see three impact holes and her windows were shattering. She suspected a vehicle she saw speeding away from the area and suspected the holes were from a pellet gun.
A man in a mustard-colored jacked was reported for suspicious behavior. The man was seen carrying a box and crossing a busy road without watching for traffic, causing cars to stop. The man then allegedly hopped over the guardrail and walked off.
