Football Corvallis pounds Polson

POLSON — Jaymark Liedle passed for three touchdowns and Hunter Pinheiro ran for three more as Corvallis crushed Polson 48-0 in Class A nonconference football play on Thursday evening.

Corvallis scored in every quarter and enjoyed a 28-0 halftime advantage.

Liedle connected with Mason Murray on two scoring strikes and hit Clay Barcus for another.

Corvallis (3-0) hosts Whitefish on Sept. 14 while Polson (0-3) travels to Hamilton.
