A person called the Kalispell Police Department to report a man was smoking marijuana while he sat inside a car. An officer investigated and watched the man and didn’t see any drug activity. When the officer approached the man, he didn’t smell any marijuana and learned he was eating watermelon.

Someone reported seeing a young child sitting in the back of a green Subaru who appeared to be smoking a vapor cigarette.

A person who was concerned about school children called to report several vehicles running a stop sign.

Numerous bicycles were reported stolen, but there were no leads.

A housesitter reported a man who had acted strangely. The man had dog treats with him and asked if he came into the backyard if the dog would bite him.

A front desk employee said a man was pounding on his door and had been prowling around looking for a woman. The caller said the man wasn’t a guest and he wanted him to leave. When an officer responded, the unruly person was gone.

A man gave his keys to the bartender, but when he tried to get them back, he was refused. An officer told the man he could get his keys back when he wasn’t four times over the legal limit.

A school bus driver asked for extra patrol after a child on her bus was nearly run over by another vehicle that failed to stop when the bus was dropping children off. The bus driver said several people weren’t stopping when she was picking up or dropping off kids.

A student reported being “bumped” by a car while she was crossing the street. The student said she didn’t need any medical attention. She also said the driver had waved her across the street, but then bumped her out of frustration. The driver said “Sorry, didn’t see you” and drove off.
