Co-workers belt it out in brawl

It was employee vs. employee on U.S. 2 West when two men were allegedly seen with their belts off and were swinging them around and hitting each other. The dueling duo were also allegedy punching each other. One man was shirtless by the end of the fight. The person calling to report the incident to Kalispell Police Department alleged one of the men may have been on methamphetamine.

A group of people reportedly found and chased a black bear cub into a tree by an intersection in Kalispell.

Someone reported seeing a white pickup truck hit a 5-year-old on a bike off Three Mile Drive. Upon further investigation and interviews of surrounding residents, officers were unable to confirm the report or locate anything that would indicate an accident.

Someone reported finding a duck with an injured wing under a white car.

A group of teenagers reportedly took the opportunity to throw a party in an empty house until a neighbor called to report them for being too loud. Officers shut down the party, returned the juveniles to their guardians and locked the house up for the homeowner.

Mall security wanted Kalispell Police to break up a group of teenagers reportedly loitering in the parking lot.

Meanwhile, a set of teenagers were spotted inside four or five trucks “spinning broadies” in a different parking lot.

Someone told police they were sick of six or seven teenagers who were showing up near tennis courts and were allegedly drunk and being belligerent.

A purse, reportedly full of needles, was found in a dumpster and collected by police.

A resident didn’t like that a man was parking in front of a house to purportedly use the library’s Wi-Fi. While the man hadn’t done anything illegal, the resident was reportedly concerned that the man “has been known to cuss a lot,” and he or she had small children who might overhear it.

A woman called to tell police her boss did not want to pursue theft charges after it was learned that a stolen business credit card was allegedly taken by her granddaughter and the matter would be handled internally.

According to a Whitefish Police report, a man allegedly attempted to sabatoge another man by moving his ladder while he was taking a break from working on the roof of a bar. The suspect was reportedly salty about being denied after asking the man for a job and retaliated by moving the ladder while he was inside the building. The reporting party told police he came back outside to find the ladder had been moved and confronted the suspect about it. No damage or injuries were reported, but the man decided to file a restraining order against the suspect. The manager of the bar banned the suspect for one week.

A woman called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office upon discovering a man sleeping in an allegedly stolen van that had a smashed window and was full of belongings. The vehicle was returned to its owner.

A man allegedly chased down a vehicle after hearing its occupants drive by yelling obscenities. The man claimed he followed the vehicle and parked in front of it before getting out to confront the driver about his language. The man said he wanted the incident recorded because next time he intended to take a baseball bat to the car.

A man reportedly attempted to break into multiple vehicles in a church parking lot. Someone confronted the man after he gained entry into one vehicle and he purportedly told them he was trying to charge his phone. The man left on foot.

Someone reportedly stole a revolver out of a car with a window left partially down.
