Kathy Ann Miller, 64

| September 16, 2018 2:00 AM

Kathy Ann Miller passed away on Aug. 3, 2018, at the age of 64.

She was born on Aug. 7, 1954, in Albany, New York, to Elleanor Hilde Gruesbach and Roy Henry Boehm, founder of the Navy Seals. Kathy was a great person who grew up to become an amazing wife to Rick Miller and a terrific mother to four kids. She was an amazing woman with a kind, gentle soul, and she always had a wonderful smile for everyone.

Kathy worked at Walmart and made many friends there. She enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid rock hound. She and Rick traveled extensively with many trips back and forth across the country. Kathy had a very special bond with Rick’s beloved service dog Teddy, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. It is sad that she was taken from us too soon, but we still have those great memories of her — the memories of her making us laugh and the memories of just being with her. It is hard to accept that she has passed; we will always remember that she is still here in our hearts and telling us that she loves us and that she is safe in God’s loving hands. Most of all, we will always love and miss her.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Rick; daughters Tiffany and Wendy, sons Tyi and Michael, and their families, and several beautiful grandchildren.

A celebration of life is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at and will be at Easthaven Baptist Church, with a luncheon immediately following.

Arrangements are under the care of Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory.
