Stillwater Christian defeated Flathead Valley Homeschool 25-16 25-10 25-17 on Friday in a Montana Christian Athletic Association Western Division volleyball match at Stillwater Christian School.

Stillwater moves to 8-3 overall, 5-0 in conference play.

“Flathead Homeschool put up some good serving tonight, which created challenges in serve receive for my girls,” Stillwater coach Diane Smith said.

“But senior Ramey Metzger continues to work hard at giving our offense playable balls. This was what drove the girls to the win tonight. As well as Helen Hashley once again put up a wall at the net.”

Hashley had seven of the team’s 20 kills and five of the eight blocks.

She also shared the team lead in aces with Sydney McKerrow. Both had three. The team totaled 12.

Metzger had 14 of the 16 assists and McKerrow had three of the team’s 10 digs.

Stillwater Christian has a nonconference match on Tuesday at home versus Bigfork.
