COLUMBIA FALLS – The Columbia Falls Wildcats improved to 3-5 overall after a 9-0 thrashing of Libby in Northern A Conference boys soccer play on Saturday.

Columbia Falls faces unbeaten Whitefish on Thursday at Smith Fields.

“We’re looking forward to playing Whitefish this coming Thursday, and this game helped us prepare for our conference rival,” Columbia Falls coach O’Brien Byrd said.

COLUMBIA FALLS – Josie Windauer scored four goals and Maddie Robison scored two as the Wildkats (6-2, 3-1) cruised to a victory over Libby in Northern A Conference play.

A big hurdle still remains, however — a date with unbeaten Whitefish on Thursday.

“That game is going to decide who’s first in the conference, so it’s huge,” Byrd said.
