Meet-and-greet set with candidates for interim principal

Columbia Falls Junior High School invites the community to meet candidates being considered to fill an interim principal position.

The meet-and-greet will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, at the school, 1805 Talbot Road.

Candidates are Shaun Forrest , Dana Hashley and Doug Hazen. Forrest is currently principal of East Evergreen ElementarySchool. Hashley is the middle and high school principal of Stillwater Christian School. Hazen is the middle school principal and special education director at Big Horn County School District in Lovell, Wyoming.

Beginning Aug. 1, Columbia Falls Junior High Principal Dave Wick will begin a special assignment serving as president of the National Association of Elementary School Principals for the 2019-20 school year. Wick was elected to the position two years ago, and is currently serving as president-elect. Previously, he was the vice president. The National Association of Elementary School Principals is a professional organization for elementary and middle school principals.
