Billy Jack Crow, 84

Billy Jack Crow, 84, was called home to be with our Lord on Monday, April 1, 2019, due to complications caused from Alzheimer’s.

Bill was born Aug. 30, 1934 ,to Buford and Jewel (Galloway) Crow in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Bill was seventh of eight children.

Bill enlisted in the United States Army in November of 1957. He served during the Korean conflict. After serving in the Army, Bill moved to Kalispell and began working for McElroy & Wilkens as a truck driver, loader and equipment operator for 31 years until his retirement. Bill loved horses; he was a roper for many years and belonged to the Silver Buckle Roping Club. He was mostly known for his exceptional talent of telling jokes and loved making people laugh. Bill’s wish was for everyone to be kind and good to each other, to make someone smile every chance you get!

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters and great-granddaughter Jaylee Bland of Kalispell.

He is survived by a brother, Jim Crow of Kalispell, sister Sue Sanders of Oklahoma, and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved very much.

Bill is also survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Jeri (Alex) Crow; stepdaughters Cindy Alex of Medical Lake, Wash-ington, Jennifer Ray of Sylmar, California, and Raelene Fredenberg of Big Sandy; grandchildren Ricky Wells of Airway Heights, Washington, Andy Bland of Butte, Shauna Johnson of Polson, Callie Fredenberg of Big Sandy; and great-grandchildren Jace Toren of Troy, Texas, Alexis Rustad of Butte, Brody Wells of Spokane, Washington, and Riley and Austin Johnson of Polson.

The family would like to thank the staff and caretakers of the Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls for their outstanding care during Bill’s stay.

A “cowboy” memorial reception will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at the Moose Lodge #1922 located at U.S. Highway 2 E., Kalispell. Bring a dish if you wish.
