Easter egg hunts scattered throughout the valley
If you’re on the hunt for Easter fun, look no more. Here are all the details you’re looking for.
SATURDAY
- Kalispell First Church of the Nazarene invites children in third grade and younger to an Easter party from 10 to 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome. The church is located at 1295 Whitefish Stage.
Village Greens Golf Course in Kalispell invites children of all ages to bring a basket for a golf ball and egg hunt starting at 10 a.m. Advanced registration is appreciated. Call 752-4666.
Kalispell Center Mall hosts an Eggstravaganza egg hunt in the court near Riddle’s Jewelry. The egg hunt schedule is as follows:
Ages 0-3: 11: a.m.
Ages 4-5: 11:30 a.m.
Ages 6-7: Noon
Ages 8-10: 12:30 p.m.
- Ronan’s annual Easter egg hunt is for ages 0 to 12 and takes place at 11 a.m. at the Ronan Fairgrounds. Bring your own container. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for pictures.
- Marion Fire District sponsors an pancake breakfast and Easter egg hunt at the Marion Fire Hall. Enjoy a hot breakfast starting at 9 a.m. There is no cover or meal charge, but donations always appreciated. The egg hunt for kids starts at 11 a.m. sharp.
• Bigfork’s annual Easter egg hunt for ages pre-K to fourth grade starts at noon at Bigfork Elementary School. Sponsored by the Bigfork Masonic Lodge No. 150, the community event will have more than 70 dozen eggs provided by Bigfork Harvest Foods, boiled by the Bigfork VFW Post 4042, and colored by the residents at Lake View Care Center. There will be prizes for participants, plus a number of plastic eggs containing extra prizes, and a small quantity of “golden” eggs for an extra special prize.
- Flathead Shelter Friends, the nonprofit organization that supports the Flathead Animal Shelter, is sponsoring at Easter egg hunt starting at 1 p.m. in the large pavilion in Woodland Park in Kalispell. - Columbia Falls Eagles Club No. 4081 is sponsoring an Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. at Marantette Park in Columbia Falls. Children ages 0 to 12 are welcome to join the fun and will be divided into three age groups. Prizes will be awarded. Interested in dying eggs? Volunteers are welcome to help out at 4 p.m. Friday, April 19, at the Eagles Club.
SUNDAY
- Hope Church in Kalispell is hosting an Easter egg hunt at 10:20 a.m. Sunday. All children in sixth grade and younger are invited. Children will be separated into age groups with a “golden egg” for each group for a larger prize. The church is located at 436 Birch Grove Road.
- Kalispell Elks Lodge will hold its annual Easter egg hunt on at 1 p.m. at Lions Park. The event is open to the public and includes age groups up to 12 years. Lions Park is located on the east side of U.S 93 South across from the Hilton Garden Inn. This is a fast-moving event so be sure to come on time.
