Kehr named to 2nd team All-Montana basketball
Columbia Falls High School senior Ryley Kehr was named to the USA Today All-Montana second team for girls basketball on Wednesday.
Kehr recently signed to play basketball with Montana State University-Northern in Havre, where her sister, Peyton, also attends.
A three-sport athlete and four-year varsity player, Kehr also played softball and volleyball for the Wildkats.
She was a second team all-state pick in basketball in 2018 and a first team selection this year.
Kehr averaged 15.4 points, seven rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.8 assists per game, shot 55 percent from the field and 30 percent from the 3-point line this season.
She tied an all-time Montana state record with 16 steals in a game.
Helena High’s Jamie Pickens was named Player of the Year and Helena coach Eric Peterson named Coach of the Year.
Helena captured its third consecutive Class AA state title in March.
