Dirk Lee Niebaum, 57

Dirk Lee Niebaum, 57, passed away on Friday April 19, 2019, at his home in Kalispell after a courageous battle with cancer, with his loving family at his side.

Dirk was born on Aug. 6, 1961, in Turlock, California, to Frank and Maggi Brown.

Dirk was a beloved teacher at Hedges and Peterson Elementary and coached football, wrestling and track.

Dirk volunteered at the Lighthouse Christian Home and First Descents.

Dirk is survived by his loving wife, Lori, of Kalispell; daughters, Kelly Niebaum and Dayna Niebaum; and parents, Frank and Annette Niebaum, and Roger and Maggi Brown.

A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday April 22, at the Flathead County Fairgrounds in the Expo Building.
