Man defines the meaning of 'restroom'

A store manager asked Kalispell Police Department to remove a man found sleeping in a bathroom. After the manager woke him up, he reportedly refused to leave, instead, he began eating chips he stole from the store.

A black backpack allegedly containing drugs was found shoved in some bushes. The backpack also contained a note from its owner reportedly stating he had hidden under a truck from people who were beating him up and wanted to get his backpack back. Officers called a phone number listed on the note and left a message.

A woman alleged an intoxicated man, possibly her brother, had “lost his mind” and wouldn’t leave her mother’s house. She supposedly let him in because he was pounding on the door and screaming at people. The woman reportedly rambled on about him being a threat and hating women, but when dispatcher’s attempted to get more specific information she screamed “you people never do anything about him.”

A resident heard someone come into his house and wasn’t sure if they left. The resident said a man wearing a hat and white shirt allegedly came through the front door, but didn’t leave the same way, nor did it appear he left through the back after they checked video footage.

Someone who was new to the area got an alarming welcome when they heard what sounded like a man’s voice repeatedly screaming “get out of my driveway.” They were concerned that someone was scoping out the property.

An elderly woman wanted to protest her parking ticket and needed assistance.

A dog reportedly barked for two days, but officers didn’t hear anything when they posted a notice on the owner’s front door.

A man reported possible drug activity at a location and allegedly advised police they could use his house as “a stakeout if need” because he wanted to “make sure law enforcement did something.”

A woman wanted law enforcement to drive through the area after someone reportedly shined a flashlight in her bedroom window and had noticed that someone was “squashing the plants in her garden the last few nights.”

A woman alleged her neighbor yells and swears at her whenever she leaves her home after she had confronted him in the past about yelling and swearing at his TV. She claimed another neighbor was also “involved in yelling racial slurs and swearing.”

Someone calling from 12th Avenue told Columbia Falls Police Department they were at a playground with daycare children and reportedly found drugs and paraphernalia.

A Riparian Drive resident told police something hit his large picture window and wasn’t sure if it was intentional or not.
