Columbia Falls seeks volunteers for resort tax committee
The Columbia Falls City Council is requesting applications from interested citizens who would like to serve on a resort tax advisory committee.
This committee will explore the use of the resort tax as a financing tool for the city of Columbia Falls, review the resort tax rules, and make recommendations to the City Council and discuss and educate the public on a resort tax for the city. The committee will consist of City Council members, along with three members from the community at large. This committee will meet at least once a month beginning in September.
