Concert fundraiser
The Glacier Twins Concert Series presents Lonestar today at Memorial Field, 1135 E. Second St., Whitefish, rain or shine.
Gates open at 5 p.m. The concert begins at 7 p.m. with opening act Jacque Jolene & Last Chance Band.
The concert has festival-style seating so bring your own chair. There will be food vendors, beer and wine for sale. After the concert a corn-hole competition follows at 10 p.m.
Advance tickets are $35. Order tickets online at http://biy.ly/lonestarwhitefish or purchase tickets at Brannigan’s Pub in Kalispell, Buster’s Casino in Whitefish or Kelly’s Casino in Columbia Falls. Tickets at the gate are $40. Children 6 and under are admitted free.
The concert is a fundraiser for the Glacier Twins American Legion baseball team.
Show ‘N Shine
The Evergreen Chamber of Commerce hosts the 2019 Show ‘N Shine from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Conlin’s Furniture, 1441 Montana 35 in Evergreen.
The car show is open to all classes of cars, motorcycles and off road vehicles. Trophies will be awarded.
There will be booths, food vendors, T-shirts for sale, music and door prizes. Admission is free, however, pets aren’t allowed.
The Dairy Queen Cruise precedes the car show and begins at 6 p.m. today.

Bigfork art fest
The Bigfork Festival of the Arts takes place this weekend in downtown Bigfork.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Free parking and bus shuttles are available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., from the corner of Montana 35 and 82. Enter from Montana 82.
Audubon hike
The Flathead Audubon Society hosts a nature hike from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Owen Sowerwine Natural Area in Kalispell.
Retired biology professor Jeanette Oliver will lead an information-packed stroll in the portion near her property on Leisure Island. The group will go on an easy walk across the summer season dry portion of the Stillwater River to explore the Big Island.

Kitten adoption day
KittyMOM’s Rescue has a rescued kitten adoption day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Petco in Kalispell. Twenty kittens and some of the young mother cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.
Many are bottle babies and have been raised in foster homes. Bring a carrier. Adoption fee is $60. For more information, call Darcy, 752-4460.

Lakeside social
West Shore Community Library has an ice cream social and bake sale from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday in Lakeside. Children’s magician Drew Miller performs and stories will be read. Admission is free; donations will be accepted.
Art show
The Iinnii Initiative, Medicine Spring Library and ImagineIF libraries invite the public to a reception celebrating the launch of the Iinnii Art Show from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at ImagineIF, Kalispell, featuring works of Blackfeet artists that explore the sacred significance of the buffalo to the Blackfeet Nation.
The Iinnii Art Show will be on display at ImagineIF libraries in Kalispell August through September, and in Columbia Falls October through November.
Rotary festival
Flathead Valley Rotary Clubs’ third annual Rotary Great Bear Festival takes place from 4 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday in Kalispell’s Depot Park. Sample local and regional beers, hard ciders, wines and food.
Jameson & the Sordid Seeds and the Smart Alex bands will provide live music.

- Flathead County High School’s 60th class reunion is this weekend. A meet and greet is from 6 to 10 p.m. today in the Winchester Room, Outlaw Convention Center, 1701 U.S. 93 S., Kalispell. A catered picnic takes place from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Lawrence Park, Kalispell.

- Whitefish High School Class of 2009 10-year reunion begins at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Great Northern Bar patio area.
Somers reunion
The Somers Reunion takes place Saturday at the Fire Hall on Lesley Avenue in downtown Somers.
People will gather at 10 a.m. A potluck lunch will be served at noon.
The event is open to the public. Meet the former and present residents who lived worked and grew up in Somers as they share stories of living in the Company Town established by the Great Northern Railroad in 1901.
Admission is a dish to pass; beverages will be provided.
The reunion has taken place every two years since around the 1940s. Following the luncheon and sharing, the Somers Company Town Museum will be open approximately 2 p.m.
