Wanted robbery suspects remain at large
Two wanted robbery suspects were still at large as of Thursday evening, according to Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino.
At approximately 1 a.m. Thursday morning deputies were advised of a possible location of multiple robbery suspects at a residence in Marion around Lodgepole Drive. When deputies arrived, several suspects fled from the house on foot into nearby woods, according to Heino.
Two individuals, Conner Waggener and a juvenile, were taken into custody shortly after authorities arrived at the residence, Heino said. However, 19-year-old Lukas Davis, and 18-year-old Cody Allen Waggener (brother of Conner) are still at large.
According to an announcement that was posted on the Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, the whereabouts of Davis and Cody Waggener were unknown, “but it is not believed they are in the Lodgepole Drive area in Marion.” The post warns, “If you see either suspect, do not approach!”
Heino said the Sheriff’s Office has reason to believe the suspects are armed because both were part of two similar, but separate armed robbery incidents.
Cody Waggener is wanted in connection to a case being investigated by the Columbia Falls Police Department. Davis is wanted in connection to cases in Missoula.
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office is assisting Columbia Falls and Missoula authorities in their searches for the suspects.
More information will be forthcoming from the Sheriff’s Office.
