Bigfork man claims $70K in state lottery

The Montana Lottery has awarded over $192,000 in prizes this month, including big payouts to two Flathead Valley residents.

Tom Smith of Bigfork won $70,000 on Aug. 8 playing Winnebago. Smith bought his winning ticket at Town Pump #2 on US Hwy. 2 W. in Columbia falls.

Shelley Welch of Kalispell won $31,186 on Aug. 2 playing Big Sky Bonus. Welch bought her winning ticket at Cenex Zip Trip #39 on E. Idaho Street in Kalispell.

Other winners around the state included:

Teresa Tuminaro of Hamilton won $70,000 on August 1 playing Lucky Every Day. Tuminaro bought her winning ticket at Hamilton Market Place in Hamilton.

Letitia Deines of Billings won $15,213 on August 2 playing Shake-A-Day. Deines bought her winning ticket at Grandstand Casino & Sports Bar in Billings.

Denise Kuntz of East Helena won $5,960 on August 8 playing MT Slots. Kuntz bought her winning ticket at the Glass Slipper Lounge in East Helena.
