Police investigate Village Greens drive-by shooting
Officials with the Kalispell Police Department are seeking any information related to a drive-by shooting that occurred in the Village Greens neighborhood early on July 25.
According to Jim Wardensky, detective captain with the Kalispell Police Department, there were no injuries, but bullets did hit several homes in the neighborhood, causing property damage.
A deputy with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call that came in around 1 a.m. on July 25 that possible shots had been fired in the area.
Parole officers arrived shortly thereafter, canvassed the area and found evidence of gunfire. Officers spoke with neighbors, but there were no witnesses and no video footage of the incident.
There are currently no suspects.
Wardensky said the neighborhood is typically a “very quiet neighborhood with little crime,” and described the incident as “puzzling.”
