Solar-powered outdoor films screen in Polebridge

Oscillation Transia Film Fest is returning to Polebridge Saturday, Aug. 17.

Join in for a night of solar-powered outdoor cinema, showcasing 10 award-winning international short films from around the globe. The program runs about 90 minutes and features short documentaries surrounding the themes of travel, nature and movement.

The screening begins at 9:30 p.m. behind Northern Lights Saloon, 255 Polebridge Loop, Polebridge. The event is free and open to the public. Audience members are encouraged to bring their own seating and a blanket.

Oscillation Transia Film Festival is a nonprofit traveling event exploring the intersection of solar energy application and environmental awareness through the art of film. OT hosts free events that include free solar energy workshops and outdoor solar-powered film screenings of international award-winning short films.
