Full moon on display in coworker spat
An employee called Kalispell Police Department to report a man and woman in a parking lot on U.S. 93 South who allegedly wanted to fight their coworker. The dynamic duo were told to leave because they were reportedly drinking and “being belligerent.” The man, who was already wearing saggy pants, apparently mooned them.
Police received a call about someone’s neighbors who could probably benefit from cracking open a dictionary once in awhile when they were “outside using profane language.” The caller said the men weren’t fighting, “just talking very loudly and using the ‘F’ word over and over.”
A man, described as very belligerent and rude, called 911 demanding and yelling for immediate help because he returned home to find out his house had allegedly been burglarized and trashed. The man called 911 again, “wondering where the officer was.” Dispatchers gave him the non-emergency phone number to call since there was no immediate threat or emergency and was told an officer would “get there when they could.” That wasn’t good enough because he reportedly called 911 a third time.
A woman claimed she was “ripped off” after purchasing a camper from a man through a private sale and now he reportedly was avoiding her phone calls. She had questions about whether or not to pursue charges.
Someone called to report what they thought may have been drug use going on with occupants inside two vehicles. The occupants in one vehicle were said to be passing things back and forth and a shirtless driver in the other car reportedly “put something up his nose” when an officer pulled up. A plate was reportedly removed from one vehicle due to a suspension, but there wasn’t enough evidence of drug use.
A man told police his wife forced herself inside his house and was “trying to get into his pockets,” despite a court order reportedly in place saying she couldn’t be there, and he also said he found drugs in the car she was driving. She also attempted to turn on a vehicle that had been disabled. Officers dropped her off on Main Street and reportedly seized drugs and paraphernalia for destruction.
A 10th Avenue resident in Columbia Falls called Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, concerned about a turkey that “mostly” hung around their yard, because a neighbor had purportedly tried to lure it into his yard to kill and “it is not turkey hunting season.” They were advised to call Fish and Game.
Someone in Columbia Falls reported receiving a text from an employee who told them they couldn’t come in to work after a man punched her repeatedly and her head smashed into a window.
