Whitefish's Kahle top golfer with 72 at C-Falls Invitational
COLUMBIA FALLS — Cameron Kahle of Whitefish won his second golf title in two days on Wednesday with an even-par 72 in the Columbia Falls Invitational at Meadow Lake Golf Club. Kahle finished five shots ahead of Bryce Reed of Hamilton.
Polson’s Trey Kelley was third with a 78.
Those were the only golfers to break 80.
Kahle won the Western A Kickoff Invitational on Tuesday at Whitefish Lake Golf Club with a 1-over par 73.
Hamilton took the team title with a 341 total. Whitefish was second and 10 shots back.
Macee Greenwood of Corvallis shot an 80 to edge Ella Shaw of Whitefish for medalist honors on the girls side by two shots. Cali Cannon of Polson was third, 84.
Corvallis claimed the team title with a 394 total. Polson was a distant second, 430.
Columbia Falls, Polson and Whitefish are back in action today at the Ronan Invitational at Mission Mountain Golf Course.
