Mom versus mom in school parking lot drop-off
Saturday, Nov. 30
— A caller on Hwy. 83 requested a call from animal control regarding their dog who had a seizure the night before. Before animal control arrived, the dog revived enough so that its owners could transport the animal to a veterinarian.
— An individual reported a stolen trailer. They had recently purchased the trailer but could not find the title.
— A gold Suburban with a trailer was reportedly parked illegally on Grand Drive. The vehicle was allegedly blocking parking spaces in an apartment complex and was not owned by a tenant. The driver was identified as an individual with a previous criminal history including assault, burglary and drug-related offense(s). A deputy responded and did not see anyone around the vehicle in question, but noted that the sheriff’s office would do extra patrols in the area.
Sunday, Dec. 1
—The driver of a gray BMW reportedly passed another driver illegally on Montana Highway 35.
Monday, Dec. 2
— Extra patrols were requested on Vista Lane.
— A caller on Wolf Creek Drive said a vehicle repeatedly pulled into their driveway and shined their brights at the reporting party’s residence. The caller said the driver left after they went outside with a flashlight.
— An unspecified bomb threat was reported at Bigfork High School. The Bigfork Fire Department and local law enforcement responded to the scene. A male juvenile was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
— A pastor requested a welfare check on a male whom he had not seen for at least a month. Neighbors reported the male’s brother had picked him up to stay with him for a couple weeks.
— A female was reportedly screaming at a male inside a truck at a Hwy. 209 residence. She later exited the vehicle and got bags out of the truck. The reporting party came outside with a flashlight and the female walked toward him. She allegedly stated that she had a ride on the way and was going to stay at the reporting party’s house until the ride arrived. Law enforcement responded, but the female refused assistance.
— An ambulance responded to a report of a male with diabetes who was incoherent.
Tuesday, Dec. 3

Wednesday, Dec. 4
— An injured deer was reported on Hwy. 209. The deer appeared to be paralyzed. A deputy responded and found the animal had died.
Thursday, Dec. 5
— A caller reported a female threatened physical violence against her. The female in question reportedly told the caller that next time she saw her, she’d take “$5,600 out of her —.” A deputy responded to the location but was unable to find the suspect. The deputy called her, but she reportedly hung up. She later returned the deputies call and was allegedly argumentative and hung up again.
— A deputy served a temporary restraining order to a male at a Hwy. 209 address.
— A deputy responded to a Hwy. 83 address for a littering complaint. The reporting party alleged that asbestos and metal from the property were getting blown around the school playground and into ditches and pastures where animals were located. An ordinance officer and the county zoning and planning department were notified.
— A female reported being harassed in the Bigfork High School parking lot by another female who allegedly cursed at the woman in front of children and made an obscene gesture toward her. The reporting party said she was planning to file a report. The reporting party’s boyfriend stated that the female in question had shown up at his house and had been writing bad things about the reporting party and calling him repeatedly. The pair were advised on the process for filing a temporary restraining order.
— A caller requested a welfare check on a resident of Eastman Drive. A deputy made contact with the resident in question who reported they were fine and refused medical care. The individual’s phone had died and deputies assisted them by placing it in the charger.
— An individual ingested an unknown amount of ibuprofen on Broken Chocker Lane. Law enforcement was called to the scene.
— An individual on Beach Road requested extra patrols and was concerned that someone was going to harm them.
— A caller provided information about a recent casino robbery.
— A vehicle struck a deer on Hwy. 35. The deer was dispatched. Montana Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
