Driver boasts fake plates, but real threats

Friday, Dec. 13

— A caller on Blue Lake Lane called with questions about their daughter and advice was given.

— An individual called requested assistance retrieving her daughter from her mother-in-law and noted a parenting plan was in place.

— A female reportedly violated her temporary restraining order by calling a male nine times and leaving three voicemails. The caller said he kept the recordings and would present them to a judge later that month.

— A vehicle with alleged fake military plates was spotted at a local gas station. The caller said one of the driver’s friends threatened him over the phone so he wanted to report both the threat and the fake plates.

Saturday, Dec. 14

— A caller on Beach Road requested to speak with a deputy.

— An individual reported a head-on crash on Echo Lake Road involving a gray Toyota Highlander and a white Jeep. Subjects in both vehicles reported they were OK.

— A caller reported a male driver in a dark-colored Chevy pickup was reportedly swerving all over the road and had an open container in the vehicle.

— A female reportedly took five Xanax and had allegedly been drinking as well. The female was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Sunday, Dec. 15

— A caller saw a driver slumped over inside a car that was parked, but running on Swan Way. The driver in question was gone when responders arrived on scene.

— An individual reported their mother had been missing since 8 a.m. that morning. The caller said they would check for her at a grocery store in Kalispell. The mother was located at a local gas station.

Monday, Dec. 16

Logs were not available.

Tuesday, Dec. 17

— Extra patrols were requested on Beach Road.

— A cow at large was reported on Echo Lake Road. Deputies were unable to locate the bovine in question.

— A second caller reported an escaped black cow on a bike path. The owners were reportedly attempting to catch the animal.

— A caller reported a female came through the drive through of a Hwy. 35 establishment and reportedly had slurred speech and was “bit combative and belligerent.”

— An individual on Ferndale Drive reported their dog had been stolen by a suspect driving a black truck. The dog was described as a long-haired German Shepherd.

Wednesday, Dec. 18

— An individual stopped by the sheriff’s office to report their wife’s Yogo sapphire necklace had been lost. The necklace was described as heart-shaped with a 1.02 carat sapphire and had likely gone missing Saturday night.

— A caller reported being scammed out of money on Ferndale Drive after purchasing several dogs online that never arrived.

— An individual on Grand Drive reported receiving threatening calls from a male who said he was going to find him and hurt him. The reporting party’s sister was “methed out” and allegedly having her kids taken away by Child Protective Services. The caller suspected she was having the male contact him. The caller was advised to apply for a temporary restraining order and was advised to call 911 if the male showed up at his residence.

Thursday, Dec. 19

— A caller on Beach Road reported “big bangs and noises” in the neighborhood and requested extra patrols, specifically around 4 a.m.
