It's all 'about that bass, 'bout that bass...'

A man didn’t realize how loud his music had been playing, particularly the bass. It had been like that for the last few days. The man agreed to turn it down when a Kalispell City Police officer spoke with him.

A person called to report dirt bikes belonging to him and his roommate were stolen from the carport.

Someone reported her son had found two capped needles near a tree before dinner. Officials disposed of the needles.

A man wanted police to meet him at the hospital where he and his wife had taken their daughter because they thought she had taken some type of narcotic. The father’s concern dealt with the fact that the daughter’s boyfriend was over the age of 18.

A woman said every day high school kids gather behind her home to smoke pot and trash the back of her house. She said she had complained to the school and they told her to call police. She also said they were messing with her electric box and she wanted patrols before and after school and during lunch time.

Two Goldendoodles were found by the Old Steel Bridge. Each dog had an electric collar, but not identification. An animal welfare worker who found them took them to an animal clinic.

A man said someone had gotten his Social Security number and was making online purchases in his name. He canceled the order and didn’t lose any money.

A person reported a purple-attired man on a bike with a basket was riding around screaming curse words. He was nowhere to be found when an officer checked.

Someone said a blonde woman wearing a pink shirt who wasn’t allowed to be at the property was refusing to leave. An officer did see her walking down the street when he arrived.

The owner of a chalet called the Whitefish Police Department because he had a customer who hadn’t paid his bill and had a history of being disruptive when it was time to settle up. The man did have to return to collect some construction materials and the owner was told to call when he arrived so an officer could be on stand-by.

A woman reported her boyfriend had been beating her since Christmas and she had suffered injuries that required her to take time off from work. She said he told her he’d kill her if she left him. She also said he had choked her and caused her to pass out. The woman was taken to the police department so she could make a report.
