Kalispell man scores $150K scratch ticket

HELENA — The Montana Lottery has awarded $195,568 in cash prizes since Jan. 17, warding prizes to winners all around the state.

Michael Schilling, of Kalispell, claimed a $150,000 prize on Jan. 17 that was won playing a 50X Scratch ticket. The winning ticket was purchased at the Woodland Qwik Stop on Woodland Park Drive in Kalispell.

Donald Heindel, of Whitefish, claimed a $10,000 prize on Jan. 17 that was won playing Montana Millionaire. The winning ticket was purchased at the Town Pump on East Idaho Street in Kalispell.

Stanley Myhre, of Flaxville, claimed a $6,000 prize on Jan. 17 that was won playing the Treasure Play game Montana Wild Joker. Stanley’s win occurred at the R-Y Trail Bar & Grill on Main Street in Flaxville.

Janet Zenko, of Baker, claimed a $5,116 prize on Jan. 17 that was won playing Big Sky Bonus. The winning ticket was purchased at the Reynold’s Market at 216 Shopping, E. Center Ave. # 79 in Baker.

Christopher Hunt, of Missoula, claimed a $5,245 prize on Jan. 22 that was won playing Big Sky Bonus. The winning ticket was bought at Jay’s Mart on 39th Street in Missoula.

Jonathan Kyro, of Red Lodge, claimed a $19,207 prize on Jan. 28 that was won playing the Treasure Play game MT Slots. Kyro won while playing at the Knotty Casino on Broadway Avenue in Red Lodge.

This list compiled only prizes claimed since Jan. 17 in excess of $5,000.

The Montana Lottery was created by referendum in 1986. Since then, it has paid over $559 million in prizes and returned approximately $249 million to the State of Montana.
