Libby girls, boys top Eureka in basketball
LIBBY — Libby rolled by Eureka with a big second half for a 43-28 nonconference girls basketball victory on Tuesday evening.
Eureka (12-4 overall) held a 20-12 edge at the half, but Libby (10-6) dominated after that. The Loggers outscored Eureka 31-8 in the second half.
Jayden Winslow led a balanced Libby offense with 12 points. McKenzie Profitt was next with nine points.
Seven Libby players figured in the scoring.
Winslow scored seven points in Libby’s 18-point fourth quarter.
Megan Hanson topped Eureka with eight points. Avory Escobar chipped in six.

LIBBY — Ryggs Johnston scored 12 of his game-high 22 points in the second half to help Libby drop Eureka by 20 points in a nonconference matchup.
Libby (9-7) led 29-15 at the half.
Keith Johnson also reached double-figure scoring for the victors with 13 points.
Libby cashed in at the free-throw line, sinking 10 of 11 attempts. Johnston was perfect on six tries.
Jake Kindel tallied 13 points and Joey Kindel 10 to pace Eureka (2-11).
