Christina May Haskell, 63

| February 10, 2019 12:59 PM

Christina May Haskell (Chrissy) received her wings for heaven on February 6, 2019.

Chrissy was our beloved earth angel. Although she never had a “normal” kind of life, she had a special life in the fact that she helped those around her remember to appreciate the blessings of each day.

Christina May was born on May 6, 1955, in Rapid City, South Dakota. Her first years were spent at home with family. She later resided in Custard State Hospital, South Dakota and then Hot Springs Health & Rehab in Hot Springs, Montana.

She was a daughter to Rolland and Leona Haskell. Sister to Sherri, Bruce, Patty and Diane. Gift to all of those that cared for her over the years.

A strong bond to her Father evident by the smile when she heard his voice or he touched her hair. She loved her music and hated her “peas”. Her giggle touched the hearts of many.

Special thanks to all the care givers who dedicated themselves to Chrissy’s well-being. Her life speaks volumes to the phenomenal care she received throughout her living.

Preceded in death by her mother Leona, father Rolland, brother Bruce. She is survived by her sister Sherri and husband Doug Witschger of Colorado, sister Patty and husband Michael Archibald of Columbia Falls Montana, sister Diane Sanford, of Kalispell Montana.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Hot Springs Health and Rehab in Hot Springs Montana, followed by a reception there.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hot Springs Health & Rehab, P.O. Box 689 Hot Springs, MT 59845.
