Tea for two, and you and you and you

A woman told a dispatcher that Whitefish Police officers could use her circular driveway if they needed it for the winter carnival. She said tea and snacks were also available.

A “ski bum” was rousted from his recline by a Whitefish Police Department officer after a caller requested a welfare check on a person sleeping in a Chevy Tahoe with Iowa plates.

Another skier-related call resulted when someone’s skis were stolen off a vehicle. The vehicle was under the watchful eye of a surveillance camera, so a suspect may be in trouble.

A municipal truck backed into a concrete barrier with minor damage reported.

The former “Naked Noodle” location turned out to be a good place for a transient to become comfortable. The dweller had a sleeping bag and a few bikes at the spot.

A person who tried to cross the street with her kids didn’t get the response she sought when she yelled at a teen driver to “slow down.” The driver actually drove faster.

The recent cold snap still wasn’t enough to keep a black bear from taking a walk down Baker Ave.
