• Jeff Hruby has been promoted to business development director at Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services Inc. (AE2S). Hruby has been with AE2S since 2012, serving as the water resources practice leader, and more recently, also as the firm’s civil practices director. As a licensed professional engineer, Hruby has helped clients with a wide variety of projects over the course of his 20-year career, ranging from air-quality modeling for paper mills to urban stormwater master planning. His experience includes analysis, design and project management on a wide variety of water resources projects.

AE2S is an employee-owned engineering consulting firm that specializes in water, wastewater, water resources, rural water, civil engineering, surveying, mapping, GIS, structural engineering, electrical engineering, instrumentation and controls, and financial services. The Kalispell AE2S office is one of four in Montana.

• John Ghekiere, senior applications manager for ClassOne Technology, global supplier of wet processing equipment for =200mm semiconductor manufacturing, will be speaking on advanced electroplating at the CS International Conference in Brussels, Belgium, March 26-27. The title of his presentation will be “Advancing Performance of Compound Semiconductor Devices Through Advanced Plating Processes.” Ghekiere is a 21-year veteran of the semiconductor equipment industry, with deep experience in applications and platform development for both electroplating and cleaning processes. He is senior applications manager at the ClassOne Technology facility in Kalispell.

• Laura Taylor, a Flathead Valley Spectrum Reach advertising account executive, has received the 2019 Reach Elite award, which recognizes and rewards employees nationwide for outstanding performances and contributions. Recipients receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Sanctuary Cap Cana Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and cash bonuses.

Grafe has over 20 years experience in the heating and cooling industry and has worked on a wide variety of HVAC systems including furnaces, boilers, geothermal, heat pumps, mini-splits, residential and commercial heating and cooling systems.
