Wolfpack rallies in 4th to edge Big Sky
MISSOULA — Glacier used a big finish to slip by Missoula Big Sky 54-52 on Tuesday evening in Western AA boys basketball play.
Glacier, 2-4 overall, 1-0 league, outscored the Eagles 21-12 in the fourth quarter to claim the victory.
Big Sky, 1-7, 0-2, enjoyed a 40-33 edge after three periods.
Drew Engellant scored nine of his team-high 15 points in the fourth quarter for Glacier. KJ Johnson and Michael Schwarz each knocked down one key 3 during that stretch.
Bret Michaels went 4-for-4 from the free-throw line in the final quarter to finish with 13 points.
Camdyn Larance topped Big Sky, and all scorers, with 21 points. Andrew Gardanier was next with 11.
Glacier continues with Western AA play with a Friday crosstown matchup with Flathead at Glacier at 8 p.m.

EUREKA — Ryggs Johnston sank a pair of free throws to push Libby up by three and JJ Davis followed with a layup with 18 seconds remaining to complete the scoring for Libby, and both teams, in a nonconference victory over Lincoln County rival Eureka.
Johnston finished the night with a game-high 21 points. Caden Williams followed with 14 for the Loggers.
Cory Chaney and Jake Kindel shared scoring honors for Eureka, 1-5 overall, with 10 each.
Libby led 9-8 after the first quarter and 38-37 after three.
Eureka was on top 27-26 at the half.
Eureka returns to 7B play on Saturday at Troy while Libby has a Northwest A contest at Polson.

EUREKA — Eureka outscored Libby 13-4 in the second quarter to gain the edge it needed for a nonconference victory over Lincoln County rival Libby.
Eureka, 5-2, led 22-12 at the half and 34-20 heading into the fourth quarter.
Sienna Utter topped Eureka, and all scorers, with 15 points. Maggie Graves was next with 13.
Karlee Frost and Avory Escobar had four steals each for Eureka, which totaled 20 as a team.
Graves pulled down a team-high seven rebounds and Megan Hanson had a team-best four assists to go with nine points.
It was the first win for Eureka over Libby in more than two years.
Eureka returns to 7B play on Saturday at Troy while Libby has a Northwest A contest at Polson.
