Glacier bests 36 schools for Gonzaga speech win
Glacier High School Speech and Debate brought home the hardware from the Conway Classic at Gonzaga University for a second straight year.
Seven champions aided the team in scoring an overall 210 sweepstakes points for the first-place finish at the Washington tournament Jan. 4-5, which featured 36 schools from seven states and two countries, according to Glacier Head Coach Greg Adkins.
“This is always a great tournament for our team. It is fun to compete against new schools from all around the region. I’m proud of the development of this year’s team; we seem to be peaking at the right time,” Adkins said.
