• Devin Huntley recently was named chief operating officer at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson. He began work on Jan. 7. Huntley replaces interim Administrator Lynn Weddle.

Huntley was born and raised in Missoula and graduated from Hellgate High School. He has a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Business Administration in hospital administration from the University of Arizona and served in United States Army. He spent 15 years at Community Medical Center in Missoula focusing on education, rural outreach, business development and operations. He most recently helped guide strategy as a board member at Clark Fork Valley Hospital in Plains.

“As a Western Montana native (born at St. Pat’s), I’m thrilled to roll up my sleeves and immerse myself in the Polson community,” Huntley said in a press released. “I am humbled and honored to lead the incredible team of physicians and caregivers at St. Joe’s. Providing exceptional health care in a rural community comes with many opportunities and challenges. Together, we are up to the task.”

Huntley is married and has two daughters. He enjoys hunting, fishing and hockey.

- Allyson Arnold has started a health-care management business called Inspired Health Care Navigations. Arnold, of Whitefish, is a registered nurse who will work with clients to navigate the health-care system. Throughout her career as a hospital nurse, a case manager for home health care and a psychiatric nurse, she said she has seen first-hand the need for independent health-care navigators and patient advocates.
