Carrie Ann Baker, 48

| January 19, 2019 10:10 AM

Carrie died peacefully at the Kalispell Regional Medical Center on Jan. 16, 2019, from complications stemming from an abdominal aortic aneurysm that occurred on Dec. 26, 2018.

Carrie was the third-born child of James Sylvan Baker and Ellen May (Caudill) Baker. She was born on Dec. 18, 1970. She was raised in Kalispell and attended local schools and Flathead High School.

Over the years she worked as a waitress, tended bar and did home health care for many years.

At the time of her death, she was a casino runner at the Homestead Cafe in Lakeside. She loved her job and, most of all, the people that she waited on; she considered them her friends.

She was blessed with two boys, Jordan John James Patterson and Jake Sylvan Baker. They were her world, and she loved and cherished them so much.

Later in her life she was blessed to meet her soulmate, Gordon “Gordy” Lobdell. He loved and cared for her unconditionally. I know he will miss her dearly.

Carrie loved her bulldog pups, Lucy, Gunner and their newest addition, Ivy Blu.

Carrie had a sensitive, loving and compassionate heart. She was a spitfire and had a sense of humor like no other. She will truly be missed by so many.

She is survived by her sons, Jordan Patterson, Jake Baker, and her unborn grandson due to be born in April, Dawson Gene Sylvan Baker; her beloved soulmate, Gordy Lobdell, his children

and all his loving family; her brother, Sherman Baker, his wife Rae Marie, and their children; her sister, Tammy Koski, her husband Jeff, and their children; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Jim Baker, in 2006, and her mom, Ellen Baker, in 1991.

Rest in peace, Carrie. I know that our loved ones, that have passed before us are there to welcome you home. You will never be forgotten and you will always be loved and missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Johnson-Gloschat Mortuary on Main Street.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date when the weather is better.
