Flathead, Glacier grapplers post wins at AA Duals
GREAT FALLS — Flathead’s wrestlers placed fifth at the AA Duals on Saturday.
Flathead lost to Billings Senior for third place in a battle that came down to the final match.
Flathead beat Butte, which finished fourth.
“We are very proud of the improvement of this team,” Flathead coach Jeff Thompson said.
“We battled and are really opening up our offense. We show a lot of promise heading into state in a few weeks. Dillon Yeadon had one heck of a day on the mat today. He won three matches and was in the hunt in his fourth. Fin Nadeau and Tanner Russell were absolutely fantastic. These guys are so fun to watch. Brendan Barnes and Sebastian Koch were both 3-1 and are winning the close matches. Damian Naldrett sealed the win for us versus Big Sky for fifth.”
