Patty cake, patty cake, hit in the face
A woman told Kalispell Police Department she drove by a grocery store and reportedly saw a man pulling another man out of a vehicle. The men, one reportedly wearing a football jersey, the other a baker’s uniform, allegedly got into a tussle over accusations of theft that resulted in some bloody lips and bleeding hands.
A woman, who may have been under the influence, reportedly went up to someone’s vehicle screaming that her boyfriend was beating her and took their child. She allegedly asked the person to call police, but refused to give her name, or the name of the man who purportedly took the child, then walked away.
An upset 13-year-old sought police assistance in leaving her apartment to go to her friend’s house because her allegedly drunk mother was causing a verbal disturbance and yelling at her. Eventually, the friend’s mother picked them up and the teen planned to wait there until her mother was sober.
A woman possibly locked herself out of her apartment for the second time and wanted help getting in, which may have once again been turned over to Kalispell Fire Department.
A washing machine may have laundered its last load when it began smoking, which set off a smoke detector and filled an apartment laundry room with smoke.
A store manager was suspicious of a woman who came in “not acting right,” reportedly slurring her speech, sitting down for 10 minutes, went into the bathroom for 10 minutes and then left with a man carrying a small dog. The manager purportedly “just had a feeling,” that she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol rather than the behavior being medically related.
A woman was allegedly seen urinating on a hotel floor.
A crossing guard on Second Street asked Whitefish Police Department if it was legal for a bus driver to park a bus so that it blocked the crosswalk. The crossing guard said it was a frequent occurrence with one of the bus drivers.
A woman reported a dump truck had been parked on U.S. 93 with its brake lights on for about an hour and couldn’t tell if there was anyone around or if it was a mechanical issue because it didn’t appear to be running.
Someone on Montana 40 wanted Columbia Falls Police Department to counsel a driver with road rage about his behavior when he supposedly stopped in the middle of the road, swore and threatened to beat them up. What allegedly infuriated the driver was that the person was not in a turning lane.
Another driver on U.S. 2 was reportedly “splitting lanes” and nearly running someone off the road, then swerving in and out of traffic.
A woman’s sibling was allegedly “creating chaos” and arguing with an ex on Seventh Street when he supposedly body-checked her, telling her to get out. Well, she wanted him to get out and asked police to assist in his removal.
