'Screaming' pooch delivers barking marathon

A dog was reportedly “screaming” for “at least” six hours on Monegan Road in Whitefish, according to a report Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received.

A Bigfork woman told deputies her husband threw punches at her and slapped her across the face.

A man was reportedly hitting someone’s dad on Granrud Lane in Kalispell.

A Kalispell woman told officers a supposed friend was sending nude photos of her to people, including her child, because he was upset over “a recent decline” in their friendship.

Someone on Windsong Court in Kalispell reported their dog had been shot by a BB gun.

A Flathead Court renter in Bigfork was upset when a contractor reportedly told her he was going into her house to fix something without her permission and when she was out of the house. He supposedly called her an (expletive).

Someone returning to a business on U.S. 2 in Kalispell was suspicious that a man and woman sitting in a parked, beat-up hatchback were supposedly “watching the operations of the store,” and casing it. Their suspicions grew when they pulled up to the vehicle and the pair would not roll down their window, but rather pulled away “slowly.”

Someone on Evergreen Drive was suspicious of people in an SUV purportedly blocking the roadway when they “pointedly looked away” after he rolled down his window.

A credit card and ATM card were reported stolen from a mailbox on Haskill Basin Road in Whitefish.

A man wanted to advise Columbia Falls Police Department about a couple of aggressive men — one wearing a black hat, the other balding, because they allegedly stared him up and down and made threatening comments, then stood outside his vehicle.
