Dead skunks reek of suspicion

| July 11, 2019 2:00 AM

A caller on Rhodes Draw in Kalispell thought it was suspicious how seven skunks ended up dead in the same spot on the roadway, according to a report given to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.

A Columbia Falls man told deputies his wife and daughter were floating down the river and supposedly saw a man and woman exposing themselves. It was unknown if the nudists were still there by the time he called the report in.

Someone calling from a U.S. 2 business in Kalispell complained that a man wearing a shirt that read “Get Blitzed” allegedly kept coming in and out trying to find his parole officer. The man may have been in it for the long haul as he was seen with water and snacks.

A man told officers he was already working with a deputy about getting a framed GED back. He said he got the GED back, but the “very expensive” frame was missing and believed his ex-wife stole it. When asked if he called her to get it back, he reportedly said he “did not and would not.” Officers called the ex who allegedly agreed to send it back.
