Just another day on Paradise Loop
Six men were allegedly involved in a physical fight on Paradise Loop in Marion, according to a call received by Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.
A 10-year-old in a go-cart was purportedly speeding through Woodland Park “and not being safe.” The young speed demon allegedly almost hit a vehicle. Officers met up with the boy on Lenwood Lane and counseled him about his driving.
A Blackmer Lane property owner in Columbia Falls reportedly told officers a naked and intoxicated woman was yelling and screaming and “going crazy” in a field on his property. He said she was camping on his property and possibly went back into her camper. Officers made contact with the wild woman and determined there were “no illegal actions.”
A woman calling from Batavia Lane in Kalispell said a man sprayed his friend with bear spray.
A woman at Logan Meadows in Whitefish called officers supposedly wanting to know “what the rules are when your husband locks you out of the house.” She reportedly left the house after a “bad fight,” and returned to find the locks changed.
A woman on Tamarack Creek Road in Whitefish followed up deputies, wanting to know what happened with the man she previously called about. She thought his vehicle might be on the railroad tracks behind her house “because the train was honking at something last night/this morning and it usually doesn’t honk.”
Someone calling from Bridge Street in Bigfork was suspicious of an unoccupied vehicle they claimed had been running for several hours and was parked “weirdly.” Deputies contacted the registered owner who reportedly said his “aged” mother borrowed the vehicle and was not familiar with operating the hybrid car.
Someone requested a welfare check on someone seen sleeping in a dugout and talking to himself. The person thought “law enforcement should go buy the man a meal.”
A Rockin Ridge Lane resident in Kalispell found a dead bat in her living room. She was given instructions on how to handle the bat until she could take it in to the city-county health department.
Someone alleged to have found the “nastiest drug user” they had ever seen when they saw a man sleeping in a vehicle and claimed he was “bleeding everywhere.” No medical assistance was needed when a sleeping man with pockmarks on his face was discovered, but no blood, or drug use.
Someone driving on U.S. 93 in Kalispell told officers they hit something in the road that punctured their gas tank, which was leaking fuel.
A motel owner told deputies a housekeeper reported finding a room destroyed where holes were put in walls, cabinet doors were ripped off and the toilet broken.
Someone found a skinny stray dog with a possible bullet hole in its chest on Marion Pines Drive in Marion.
A Kalispell parent was scared after their son’s friend spent the night, reportedly brought guns to the house, lost them and had six people coming to the residence to look for them. She believed the teen was carrying a Glock. The teen may have had a prior arrest for assault and was suspected of being on drugs.
Columbia Falls Police Department received a call from a person on Nucleus Avenue who was hysterical about an injured dog that reportedly jumped out of a truck and, although it was breathing, there was blood everywhere.
A Riverwood Drive resident told officers a “fat poodle” with matted fur and bad teeth showed up in front of their house exhausted.
