Libby rallies by Moscow in Big Bucks opener
LIBBY — A nine-run fifth inning rallied the Libby Loggers to a 15-7 American Legion baseball victory over the Moscow Blue Devils on Thursday evening at the Big Bucks Tournament.
It was the opening game of the four-day event.
Jeff Offenbecher, 2 for 4, had Libby’s lone extra base hit, a double.
Quade Anderson, S. Walker and Landon Haddock had two RBIs each for Libby.
Moscow tallied six runs in the second inning for a 6-0 advantage and added another in the third before Libby tallied 15 straight runs.
Play starts today with Mission Valley Mariners vs. Moscow at 11:30 a.m.
Libby plays the Northern Lakes at 6:30 p.m.
