HAMILTON — Sunday was an all-around heartbreaker for the Glacier Twins.

Glacier had late leads in both games of Sunday’s baseball doubleheader against the host Bitterroot Red Sox, only to give up a sixth-inning three-run homer in the first game and an eighth inning two-run double in the second. Final scores were 7-6 and 8-7 in favor of Bitterroot.

The Twins had nine hits in the first game. Coby Clark-Dickinson (3-for-4), Jack Schwaiger (2-for-4) and Zach Veneman (2-for-4) led at the plate.

They had eight hits in the second game. Veneman had a monster game, going 2-for-4 with a triple, a home run and an RBI. Clark-Dickinson also homered and had three RBI.
