Neighbor mum about who let the dogs out

A Coram resident called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report his neighbor’s dogs had entered his yard, and he planned to take photos for animal control if the dogs kept getting loose. Officers confronted a neighboring resident about his dogs, but the owner claimed his dogs had not left his yard. When officers pointed out numerous dog tracks leading to and from his yard, the man said they were from someone else’s dogs and threatened to make a harassment complaint against the officers. He got a verbal warning anyway.

A brindle Great Dane was reportedly seen attacking turkeys in front of a school in Lakeside. The witness told officers the dog was always getting out and often went onto the playground at the school. Officers were unable locate the massive, turkey-chasing, multicolored dog.

A man, who reportedly identified himself as “The Dog Catcher,” allegedly confronted a man at his home, repeatedly warning him not to let his dogs run loose. The homeowner said the dogs the man was referring to definitely weren’t his and wanted the man to stop harassing him.

A woman reported her son for harassment after he allegedly abandoned several vehicles on her lawn and refused to move them. The woman stated she was withholding her son’s pellet gun until he came and picked up his “toys.” The son then reportedly pitched a fit and threatened to destroy the mother’s property if she didn’t give the gun back.

Someone reportedly ran their van into a telephone pole and then jumped out of the vehicle, leaving his passengers and van on the sidewalk at the scene of the crash, and started chasing another car on foot.

A group of drivers in gray cars with Washington license plates were reported for swerving in and out of lanes of traffic in Whitefish. The reporting party said he thought they were all together because they moved together. He also thought the drivers each had a beer in their hand. Officers stopped the group and found no alcohol on them and let them go.

Two neighbors got into a dispute over where their accumulating snow should go. One neighbor called the police, stating he got video of his neighbor blowing snow into his driveway multiple times. The caller said his neighbor also called him out into the street, saying he was going to kick his [expletive]. The responding officer found both neighbors to be in the wrong and advised them to be “more neighborly.” The officer ended the report stating, “This was a case of two wrongs don’t make a right.”
