A woman picked up a man walking in the middle of the road with no hat or gloves, according to Kalispell Police Department logs. The man said he had nowhere to stay the night, so the woman gave him $40, dropped him off at a bus stop and asked law enforcement to check on him.

The southbound lane of the U.S. 93 bypass was temporarily closed after a car hit the guardrail.

Two people who were reportedly fired from their jobs for insubordination returned to the business to turn in their uniforms and pick up their paychecks. They claimed the owner refused to hand over the checks and wanted them to sign paperwork stating that they wouldn’t pursue charges against the business for wrongful termination. Police said it was a civil matter.
