FVCC Spring Concert Series heats up

| March 7, 2019 11:57 AM

Cocinando Latin Jazz Ensemble and vocalist Emily Baker will provide some spicy heat on a cold evening as Flathead Valley Community College’s Music Department’s spring concert series continues Friday, March 15, with performances by music faculty members and guests.

Also performing will be Bigfork High School music teacher and FVCC faculty member Skyberg Thoreson on trombone and FVCC faculty member Marshall Jones on French horn and piano.

The audience will be treated to a vocal quintet featuring Flathead High School Choral Director Jennifer Stephens, Glacier High School Choral Director Sandee Sauer, Columbia Falls High School Choral Director Emily Hackethorn, and FVCC faculty members Amy Beth Chisholm and Nicole Sanford. Chisholm and Sanford will also perform a humorous vocal duet, accompanied by Alma Ramlow on piano.

Free and open to the community, the concert begins at 7 p.m. in the large community room in the Arts and Technology Building.

For more information about the concert, contact Sanford at 756-4813 or nsanford@fvcc.edu.
