Bigfork's monthly town-hall meeting today

Bigfork’s monthly community town hall meeting will take place today at Bigfork High School.

Bigfork residents are invited to attend and participate in discussions with other groups, organizations and individuals from the village and lend their voice and insight to help build a stronger community.

Discussions will cover topics including affordable housing, affordable youth facilities, creating a sustainable future, economic opportunities for younger generations, growth and open space, law enforcement presence, public lake access, seasonality and full-time amenities, trails and sidewalks and working with the county.

The goal of the town hall meetings is to unite individuals and groups within the community to work together to find solutions to the various issues and goals of the town.

The meeting will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. in the community room at the high school.

No childcare will be provided, but children are welcome to attend.
