Kenneth 'Ken' Robert Schoof, 74

Kenneth “Ken” Robert Schoof, 74, born in Detroit on March 11, 1944, to parents Harvey and Eleanor Schoof, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2019, at the age of 74, in Kalispell.

Ken lived life to the fullest and led by example. He showed all who were lucky enough to know him how to enjoy and appreciate each day. Ken was a proud American who willingly served in the U.S. Army. He loved chatting with strangers and making new friends over common interests which included cars, outdoor activities and sports. Ken enjoyed telling stories about his life experiences, discussing current events and talking about his beloved family.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Kathleen “Kay” Schoof, of Whitefish; daughter Natalie Elliott, son-in-law David Elliott, and his grandsons Zane and Ryder of Whitefish; son Steven Schoof, daughter-in-law Natalie Schoof, and his granddaughters Ella and Sara of Midlothian, Virginia.

No service is planned until June.
