Bigfork Children's Theater presents 'Addams Family' musical

The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre presents its final production of the 2018-2019 season, the kooky and spooky musical “The Addams Family.”

Performances will be at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday March 15, 16, 22 and 23, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17. Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office one hour prior to performances.

Regular ticket prices are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $9 for students, and $8 for children under 10.

Based on the classic cartoon and movies, in the upside-down world of the Addams Family, to be sad is to be happy, to feel pain is to feel joy, and death and suffering are the stuff of their dreams. Nonetheless, this quirky family still has to deal with many of the same challenges faced by any other family, and the spookiest nightmare faced by every family ... the kids are growing up.

The Addamses have lived by their unique values for hundreds of years and Gomez and Morticia’s daughter, Wednesday, has fallen in love with a normal, respectable Ohio boy. In one fateful, hilarious night, secrets are disclosed, relationships are tested, and the Addams family must face up to the one horrible thing they’ve managed to avoid for generations — change.
