Patti Sue (Crow) Koski 61

| March 17, 2019 2:00 AM

Patti Sue Koski passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at Heritage Place in Kalispell due to kidney failure.

Patti was born Aug. 15, 1957, in McCall, Idaho, to Gertrude (GR) and Alvin Crow. Her family moved to Montana when she was very young and she spent her childhood in the Flathead. Patti moved to Alaska, where she spent 15 years enjoying life and family. Prior to returning to Montana in the mid-1980s Patti had been married and divorced twice. When she moved back to the Flathead she married her high school sweetheart Don Koski. She became a stepmother to Tony and Amanda Koski. In 1990 Patti gave birth to her only daughter, Matti Linn. Patti and Don later divorced in the late 1990s.

Patti enjoyed her time working at Sawbucks for many years. She also enjoyed working at the Legacy Cafe and VFW briefly. She loved collecting dream-catchers and going camping with her family. Patti also adored her grandchildren and loved spending any time with them as she could.

Patti courageously fought a battle with diabetes since the early ’90s and for the last 8 years was on dialysis. We would like to thank Heritage Place and Hospice for their great care of Patti.

She is preceded in death by her father Alvin Crow and her brother Bobby Mattingly.

She is survived by her mother Gertrude (GR) Mattingly of Kalispell, her brother Matt Mattingly of Fairbanks, Alaska, her daughter Matti Koski and her son Eli Brickles of Kalispell, Tony and Keaton Koski and grandchildren Kelly and Donovan and Victoria Koski of Kalispell, Amanda Koski and grandchildren Hailey and Jazzy Brager of Billings and many, many cousins.

Services will be held at Buffalo Hill Funeral home on Monday March 18, at 11 a.m., followed by a potluck celebration of life reception at the VFW in Kalispell.
