Kalispell on track to OK infrastructure improvements
The Kalispell City Council agenda at tonight’s regular meeting focuses on infrastructure projects for 2019.
A resolution will be read to release Bridge and Road Safety and Accountability program funds of $305,077 for chip-seal and mill and overlay projects in 2019.
The consent agenda also covers awarding a number of agreements and projects to local companies. These include:
- Sandon Construction Co., sidewalk and curbing construction agreement (no amount given)
- Pavement Maintenance Solutions, chip-seal projects, $305,000
- LHC Inc., 1st Ave. WN Water Distribution Improvement Project, $411,301. LHC also will be awarded the bid for asphalt materials and milling and paving (no amount given)
- Cutting Edge Excavation, City Shops Complex Asphalt Rehabilitation, $147,474
- White’s Civil Contracting, Conrad Drive water main replacement project, $363,657
- Kalispell Ford, three Ford 2020 hybrid police interceptor utility vehicles, $121,497
Public comments will be accepted for amendments to the Kalispell Design and Construction Standards, as they relate to on-street parking designations.
