Boyfriend's pickup takes brunt of woman's anger

A woman driving a black SUV was seen chasing a man in a white pickup. The man told police his girlfriend rammed into his pickup and that “she is going crazy.”

A man was warned a second time by officers for panhandling. He said he misunderstood the first warning, but now he gets the message loud and clear.

Fraud was suspected at a local restaurant when a customer placed a suspicious $1 bill in the tip jar. An employee believed it was fake and planned to destroy it. He said the customer may have unwittingly passed the fake Washington.

A teenage girl noticed a box moving around while she was out for a walk on the rails to trails path. Upon further inspection, she found the box contained two chinchillas.

A caller said a tote bag he found under a tree seemed suspicious. It contained three shirts and some keys. Weird.

Officers were contacted about a man who was allegedly abusing his partner, using drugs and making a child throw away the needles.

A 3-year-old and 1-year-old locked themselves inside an apartment. The mother was advised to call a locksmith.

A woman in labor needed to get to the hospital, so she took the plates off her boyfriend’s truck to put on her vehicle.

A man told police he might have stolen tools in his garage.

People were outside playing with their dog at 7:15 p.m. The reporting party wanted them to be quiet.

A dog running loose bit a woman and her boyfriend. Neither needed medical attention.

A reported verbal disturbance at a local motel was simply a few people taking part in a “drunken discussion.”

A girl sneaked out of her grandmother’s house past curfew so she could meet a guy at a grocery store parking lot and give him a rabbit. She was released back to her grandmother and counseled about her behavior.
