Hellion on three wheels

A young boy climbing a neighbor’s tree was asked to get off the property, according to Kalispell Police logs. The kid initially refused, but then reportedly flipped off the neighbor and walked away, only to later return to the tree. The caller had the whole thing recorded on video and asked that police cite the child for trespassing. The boy eventually hopped on his trike and left.

A child was seen riding a bicycle in circles in the middle of a road. The child’s father reportedly cursed at the reporting party when confronted about the dangerous situation.

Six teenagers on bikes were seen weaving in and out of traffic near Fifth Avenue West.

A woman on a first date with a guy she met online was reported missing by her roommate after no one heard from her all night, which was unusual. The woman came home early the next morning and everything was OK.

A caller reported a woman who had allegedly punched her teenage daughter. The teen ran off but later was returned to her mother. Police found no signs of abuse.

A suspicious person was seen hanging around vehicles in an alley. Officers investigated and found the man was just taking a potty break, not breaking into cars. He was counseled.

New tenants were causing a scene during their first day in an apartment. Neighbors heard yelling, items being thrown and doors slamming. One woman oblivious to her surroundings seemed to be high on drugs. A man renting the place said it was only a verbal disturbance with his mother.

Officers helped unlock a vehicle with a baby inside.

An unknown amount of cash was reported missing from a vehicle parked in a tow yard. The vehicle owner suspected theft.

A road rage incident led one man punching out another man’s vehicle window.

A woman took out a restraining order against a building contractor she had fired earlier in the day. The canned contractor allegedly returned to the work site drunk and belligerent.

Suspicious activity was reported at a new apartment complex in town. While watching the security cameras, the caller reported seeing two people picking up something heavy and saying “Dude, this is an easy job.”

An employee that was recently fired allegedly stole tools from his ex-employer.

A man reportedly asked workers inside a government building to “help him with his zipper.” He was later arrested.

A teenager in a Gonzaga jersey was 86’d from a business after getting in a security guard’s face and using profanities.
